The pumpkin hideout in detail

A retreat with character

Your jumping spider can enter the hollow pumpkin body through the wide mouth opening. The interior provides space for retreating, resting, and spinning a web.

The additional eye openings are part of the open Jack-o’-Lantern design. Whether and how your pet accepts the hideout depends on its individual preferences.

Elevated resting place

The magnetic attachment allows placement in the upper area of the terrarium. Combine the pumpkin hideout with suitable platforms or climbing routes so that the entrance remains easily accessible.

Magnetic attachment

The integrated magnet holds the hideout in place against a suitable terrarium wall together with the external counter-magnet. Adhesive, tape, or suction cups are not required.

The hold depends on the wall thickness and the condition of the terrarium wall. Check before use whether the hideout is securely attached.

Halloween meets cozy goth

The rounded pumpkin ribs, friendly face, and curved green stem add a playful touch—as a seasonal Halloween detail or all year round in your cozy-spooky theme world.

The dimensions describe the external dimensions. Check before use whether the entrance opening and interior provide sufficient space for your pet.

Use

• Choose a suitable spot on a glass or acrylic wall.
• Place the hideout on the inside and the counter-magnet on the outside of the terrarium wall.
• Carefully bring the two parts together and check that they are securely attached.
• Keep the entrance opening clear and easily accessible.
• Make sure that the terrarium opening and ventilation areas remain unobstructed.
• Check the attachment again after every repositioning.

Care and cleaning

• Carefully clean the empty hideout with lukewarm water and a soft microfiber cloth.
• Do not use scouring pads, hard brushes, or sharp-edged tools.
• Do not use acetone, solvents, alcohol-based cleaners, or harsh chemicals.
• Do not use hot or boiling water.
• Do not clean the hideout in the dishwasher.
• Allow it to dry completely after cleaning before putting it back.

Important notes

Suitable size

Choose the hideout to suit the size of your pet. External dimensions alone do not indicate how much space is available inside. Also consider the eye openings when choosing.

Heat and sunlight

PLA is heat-sensitive and can deform if exposed to intense heat. Keep the hideout away from direct sunlight, heat lamps, radiators, hot surfaces, and open flames.

The pumpkin hideout is not a lantern. Do not place candles, tealights, or other heat sources inside.

Product safety

This product is intended as a terrarium hideout for suitable small invertebrates, such as jumping spiders. It is not a toy.

• Keep away from small children.
• Contains small magnets and small parts that could be swallowed.
• Swallowed magnets can cause serious internal injuries. Seek medical attention immediately if swallowed or inhaled.
• Keep the loose counter-magnet out of reach of children.
• Regularly check the hideout for cracks, damage, and loose magnets.
• Do not continue to use the product if components or magnets are loose or damaged.
• Check that it is securely attached before placing your pet inside.
