Magnetic platform for jumping spiders – tree slice design

The magnetic SpoodScapes platform in a tree slice design creates a raised space for resting, climbing, and jumping. The light surface with visible growth rings and the brown edge with bark texture capture the look of a small tree slice.

With the integrated neodymium magnet and the included counter-magnet, the platform can be attached to suitable glass or acrylic glass walls. Place it next to a hide, at the end of a suspension bridge, or as an additional stopover in your enclosure.

The platform in detail

Raised resting and vantage point

The flat top provides your jumping spider with an additional surface for resting and observing. By attaching it to the terrarium wall, you can also create more usable space above the floor.

Additional jumping surface

The platform can be used individually or in combination with other enclosure elements. As a stopover next to a suspension bridge, a hide, or a feeding station, it complements the pathways through your terrarium.

Choose distances and positions suitable for your pet's size and agility.

Magnetic attachment

The integrated neodymium magnet holds the platform against a suitable glass or acrylic glass wall together with the external counter-magnet. Glue, tape, or suction cups are not required for this.

The hold depends on the thickness and nature of the terrarium wall. Before use, check that the platform is attached securely and horizontally.

Detailed tree slice look

Growth rings on the light top surface and the brown bark structure on the outer edge give the platform its forest character. It fits well with forest-themed environments and other naturalistic terrariums.

The platform is made of 3D-printed PLA with a wood look.

Usage

• Choose a suitable spot on a glass or acrylic glass wall.
• Place the platform on the inside and the counter-magnet on the outside of the terrarium wall.
• Gently bring both parts together.
• Align the platform horizontally with the surface facing up.
• Check for a secure hold before introducing your animal.
• Keep the terrarium opening and existing ventilation areas clear.
• Re-check the attachment every time you reposition it.

Care and cleaning

• Clean the platform carefully with lukewarm water and a soft microfiber cloth.
• Do not use scouring pads, hard brushes, or sharp-edged tools.
• Do not use acetone, solvents, alcohol-based cleaners, or aggressive chemicals.
• Do not use hot or boiling water.
• Do not clean the platform in the dishwasher.
• Allow to dry after cleaning before putting it back into use.

Important notes

Suitable placement

The platform is intended as a resting and climbing surface for suitable small invertebrates. Check whether its size and chosen position are suitable for your animal. A maximum load capacity is not specified.

Heat and sunlight

PLA is heat-sensitive and can deform when strongly heated. Keep the platform away from direct sunlight, heat lamps, radiators, hot surfaces, and open flames. It is not intended as a heated basking spot.

Product safety

This product is intended as a terrarium accessory for suitable small invertebrates, such as jumping spiders. It is not a toy.

• Keep away from small children.
• Contains small magnets and small parts that could be swallowed.
• Swallowed magnets can cause severe internal injuries. Seek medical help immediately if swallowed or inhaled.
• Keep the loose counter-magnet out of the reach of children.
• Check the platform regularly for cracks, damage, and loose magnets.
• Do not continue to use the product if components or magnets are loose or damaged.
• Regularly check that the platform is holding securely to the terrarium wall.
