Magnetic water feeder for jumping spiders – with glass vial & wick

A small water station for the daily care of your jumping spider.

The magnetic SpoodScapes drinker combines a 2 ml glass vial with an absorbent cotton wick. The wick transports water from the reservoir vial to the front drinking surface, providing your animal with a moist contact area for drinking.

The compact holder can be magnetically attached to suitable glass or acrylic glass walls. Choose the right color for your terrarium and theme.

The water station in detail

Water supply via a cotton wick

The absorbent cotton wick draws water from the glass vial to the front drinking surface. This provides a moistened area without the need for an open water dish.

Check daily that the wick is moist and clean, and that there is enough water in the vial.

Magnetic attachment

The integrated neodymium magnets allow for attachment to suitable terrarium walls made of glass or acrylic. This allows you to place the drinker in an easily accessible spot and reposition it if necessary.

The hold depends on the wall thickness and the texture of the terrarium wall. Before use, check that the water station is securely attached.

Refillable 2 ml glass vial

The transparent borosilicate glass vial can be removed for cleaning and refilling. The water level is visible from the outside and can be checked quickly.

The compact holder requires little space and can be combined with various setups. Choose the appropriate variant for your terrarium from the colors offered.

Use

• Rinse the glass vial thoroughly before first use.
• Fill it with fresh water and insert it into the holder.
• Check that the wick is seated correctly and that the drinking surface is being moistened.
• Attach the water station to a suitable, easily accessible place in the terrarium.
• Check for a secure hold and ensure that no water leaks uncontrollably.
• Check water level, wick, and cleanliness daily.

The drinker does not replace the monitoring and adjustment of the humidity and housing conditions required for your animal.

Care and cleaning

• Change the water regularly and clean the glass vial as well as the holder.
• Use lukewarm water and a soft, clean cloth.
• Rinse off residues thoroughly after cleaning.
• Clean or replace the cotton wick regularly, especially in case of contamination or deposits.
• Do not use boiling water or aggressive, alcohol-based, or solvent-based cleaners.
• Do not use scouring pads, hard brushes, or sharp-edged tools.
• After reassembly, check the water flow to the wick again.

Important notes

Proper use

Before use, check whether the size, drinking surface, and attachment are suitable for your terrarium and your animal. Keep the water station clean and regularly check for any water accumulating outside the wick.

Heat and sunlight

PLA is heat-sensitive and can deform under strong heat. Keep the drinker away from direct sunlight, heat lamps, radiators, hot surfaces, and other strong heat sources.

Product safety

This product is intended as a drinker for suitable small invertebrates in terrariums. It is not a toy.

• Keep away from small children.
• Contains small magnets and small parts that can be swallowed.
• Swallowed magnets can cause severe internal injuries. Seek medical attention immediately if swallowed or inhaled.
• Regularly check the holder, glass vial, and magnets for damage or loose parts.
• Do not continue to use damaged components.
• Handle the glass vial with care, as it can break if dropped or subjected to impact.
• Check the secure hold of the magnetic attachment before inserting the animal and after each repositioning.
